Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical and data-driven Senior Database Marketing Analyst to join our CRM team. This role will be instrumental in maximizing the value of our enterprise CRM platform (such as Zeta) and Customer Data Platform (CDP), owning end-to-end campaign analysis and helping define success metrics across lifecycle, acquisition, and retention campaigns. The ideal candidate has deep experience in campaign measurement, data extraction and manipulation, and working cross-functionally with both internal teams and external partners to optimize database marketing strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Own day-to-day operations of our enterprise CRM platform (e.g., Zeta), ensuring smooth campaign execution, segmentation accuracy, audience list pulls, and alignment with overall marketing strategy.
  • Design and launch new customer journey automations while continuously optimizing existing automations across lifecycle, triggered, and promotional programs to improve engagement and conversion.
  • Serve as the analytics lead for CRM efforts—build dashboards and reporting frameworks to monitor customer behavior, campaign performance, and engagement metrics across lifecycle and promotional campaigns.
  • Own the weekly campaign reporting process—collect, analyze, and share insights across teams and leadership, highlighting key trends and actionable findings.
  • Design and evaluate campaigns using test-and-control methodology, partnering with stakeholders to define KPIs and diagnose what’s working and what’s not.
  • Build and maintain customer segmentation logic and execute audience list pulls to support personalization, targeting, and campaign execution across channels.
  • Identify trends and opportunities in customer and transaction data to improve targeting, drive ROI, and inform marketing strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external platform partners to optimize our CDP, enhance data structure, and strengthen campaign execution and targeting capabilities.
  • Partner with data engineering and IT to ensure data integrity and accessible infrastructure for ongoing analytics and activation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Analytics, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
  • 15+ years of experience in database marketing, CRM analytics, or marketing operations.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM and CDP platforms such as Zeta, Salesforce, Adobe, BlueConic, or similar.
  • Strong SQL skills for querying large datasets; familiarity with Python or R is a plus.
  • Proven ability to analyze and interpret marketing campaign data and deliver actionable insights.
  • Experience in defining marketing KPIs, setting up campaign tracking, and building performance dashboards (Tableau, Power BI, or similar).
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience collaborating with external vendors, consultants, or platform partners.
