JOB PURPOSE:

 

Reporting directly to the Director of Clinical Integration, the Marketing and Communications Manager is responsible for developing, directing, and managing marketing and communications objectives as part of Sevāredent’s overall strategic plan. Overseeing the creation and production of all promotional materials, marketing campaigns, digital and physical marketing assets, social media presence and communications with the goal of engaging Sevāredent GPO Membership and Vendor Partners. This position ensures that all marketing, communication, and promotional materials are aligned with and reflect Sevāredent strategy of building relationships with the GPO member clients to increase vendor contract utilization and company profitability:

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Capture, prioritize, and coordinate marketing and communication needs from Sevāredent internal departments and Business Development team, both on an individual project basis and at a higher strategic level.
  • Creation of new and compelling marketing assets incorporating photography, graphic design elements, vendor-provided marketing and product information materials, and end-user testimonials to convey the intended value proposition to multiple customer types (e.g. clinical, operations, supply chain, C-suite).
  • Develop a comprehensive Sevāredent graphics standards package that is communicated, shared and enforced with Sevaredent employees, members, and vendor partners.
  • Manage and coordinate creation of new product/contract launch assets, soliciting input from the Sourcing and Account Management teams, in concert with the Vendor partners, to promote contract utilization and product adoption within the GPO Membership.
  • Establish and deploy a social media strategy intended to grow Brand awareness.
  • Serve as the marketing liaison to the Vendor Partner(s) business development efforts.
  • Coordinate website design enhancements, and other projects as needed with oversight from the Director of Clinical Integration.
  • Creation and execution of Sevāredent Sourcing Connection report.
  • Partner with Contract Administrator to manage archived marketing assets and company announcements.
  • Assist Sevāredent leadership team in preparing reports, presentations, and press releases as needed.
  • Creation and execution of newsletters including gathering information, writing content, copyediting, layout and design.
  • Commissioning or conducting market research, both internal and external, as needed.
  • Manage all aspects of conference and trade show presence including booth, promotions, vendor meeting facilitation, etc.

Qualifications

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • BA/BS degree in Business, Communications, or related field.
  • Five (5) or more years marketing and communications experience, preferably in dental industry or health care. DSO or GPO marketing experience a plus.
  • Five (5) or more years project management experience related to marketing, advertising, print and promotion projects.
  • Experience in Adobe Creative Cloud including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
  • Experience with HTML, CSS (including CSS3), JavaScript (or jQuery), email design, responsive web coding, and familiarity with the Adobe Creative Suite is a plus but not required.
  • Experience working with marketing platforms such as Unily CMS.

 

GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Prior experience working in a fast-paced environment, particularly one where new tools and processes must be developed to support growth and ever-changing customer expectations.
  • Demonstrated ability in creating a scope document, project budget and plan, that is delivered on budget and on time.
  • Skilled at creating and selling marketing concepts, designs and projects by distilling complex ideas into simple, compelling messages.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills, including demonstrated track record in managing and working collaboratively on complex campaigns and projects across functional lines and channels.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects at once, while maintaining a sense of urgency for deadlines.
  • Proactive, strategic thinker with expert writing skills who can visualize and execute marketing campaigns and social media content.
  • Understand trending practices in social media, web, graphic design, etc.
